The
medical laser is an amazingly versatile instrument capable of performing
multiple cosmetic procedures in one unit. Demand for permanent hair
removal, skin rejuvenation and vein removal is increasing daily and requires
trained medical staff to keep up. Train with AALM and have the confidence
and knowledge to give your patients exactly what they are asking for.
This
eight hour workshop which will focus on the Coolglide and Medlite lasers in
a cosmetic practice. Portions of the training will be dedicated to one of
the hottest cosmetic procedures available today,
permanent hair reduction.
You’ll review the anatomy and physiology of the skin in preparation for
learning how the lasers operate and how they permanently inhibit hair
growth.
You
will also learn the proper procedures and techniques for laser skin
rejuvenation and stimulating natural collagen growth. Your patients will
see the visible difference with smoother, more youthful looking skin. And,
for correcting those youthful mistakes, you’ll receive training in laser
tattoo removal.
Students will learn which laser would be appropriate for each skin type and
the desired effect. Our hands-on sessions will include step by step
instructions followed by the student demonstrating proper technique.
A review of applicable laws, recommended
insurance, marketing, & suppliers pertaining to the success of lasers in the
Aesthetic practice will close out the workshop.
